Toshiki Inoue is the head writer of the series Cutie Honey: The Live. His body of work consists of various tokusatsu series such as fan favorite Chojin Sentai Jetman and entries of the Kamen Rider Series.

While Inoue has produced various notable works that were praised by both critics and fans, he is often criticized by western audiences of the tokusatsu fandom for his treatment of female characters, mostly for the unnecessary and sometimes brutal deaths of superheroines (Ex. Female Kamen Riders and Sister Miki).
