Yoko Maekawa is a jazz and anime song singer known for singing the original Cutie Honey theme song.

History Edit

Maekawa was born in Osaka on December 18, 1950. Her career in music began in Toei Theater Training for Children (currently Toei Academy). In Junior high school, Seiichiro Uno noted her singing ability and she sang the theme song for Ryotanjima Hyokkori. After which, she performed the theme songs for notable series including Sally the Witch, Princess Knight, and Cutie Honey. Aside from this, she performs as a Jazz singer in various locations.
